November is Pancreatic Cancer Month and to help raise awareness of this devestating disease, UTHSC-Memphis and The Herb Kosten Pancreatic Cancer Charitable Foundation will host a fund-raiser, Kick It, Sunday, November 8th at the Hilton Memphis located at 939 Ridge Lake Blvd., from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.  A panel of specialists will discuss topics as it relates to pancreatic cancer.  Panelists include Dr. John Burnett, Radiation Oncologist; Dr. Donald Gravenor, Oncologist, Dr. Stephen W. Behrman, General Surgeon and geneticist, Ms. Carrie Heuer.  To follow the panel discussion will be a Q & A session.  The free event will also have available, informational handouts, magnets, cups, and other items to help raise awareness in the Mid-South Community and abroad about this devestating disease and it's affliction to so many!  UTHSC-Memphis and the Herb Kosten Charitable Foundation are dedicated to finding a cure for pancreatic cancer.
